Sympathy Arrangements
This past week has been incredibly busy with sympathy arrangements. I was handling calls for four different funerals. Below, you'll find photos of the arrangements we created, organized by each funeral.
Funeral Delivery #1 to Floresville, TX
I recently had the privilege of delivering a couple of floral arrangements to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. This included a beautifully crafted vase arrangement, as well as a last-minute request for a standing spray. You can find pictures of these arrangements below.
Funeral #2 to Stockdale, Tx
Our town recently hosted a vibrant celebration of life, and I received several requests to enhance its masculine arrangements, along with a dish garden. Below are the pictures that were shared.
Funeral #3 in Nixon, TX
This was a larger funeral service, requiring two trips to transport all the arrangements to Nixon. I ensured that every requested detail was honored, including personal touches such as incorporating Hello Kitty into the easel sprays. Additionally, I provided silk arrangements, featuring angel wings and heart-shaped lower easel stands, along with a beautiful line of flowers for the interior of the casket.
Funeral Delivery #4 to La Vernia, TX
This week, I completed my final funeral delivery to La Vernia. Several local business owners placed orders with one local business owner, who shared a touching story with me. The wife of the deceased reminisced about how her husband cherished visiting her store for a grape soda. To honor this fond memory, I included a grape soda from her shop in the basket arrangement. The funeral home staff and directors appreciated it for its unique and personal touch for the family. I’ve included pictures of the arrangements sent: two floral displays and a beautifully dressed white peace lily plant, complete with a basket, moss, bow, and a butterfly accent.
Floral creations can truly brighten any occasion.
Occasionally, I have clients who share their budget with me, allowing me to craft a beautiful hand bouquet or arrangement that meets their needs. Below are some of the creations that were made recently. It warms my heart to know one bouquet went to a wonderful mom, while another brightened up the local elementary school’s lemonade. Thank you all for your support!
Sympathy arrangements are delivered directly to homes, featuring both dried and silk options.
As a human, I sometimes make mistakes! Recently, I misread the delivery date. I promptly contacted the customer to assure her that flowers would still be on their way. I also reached out to the person who ordered the arrangement through my website (theflowerslab.net). The order had actually been placed two weeks in advance! To rectify my error, the customer received flowers on the wrong day as well as her regular order on the correct date. Occasionally, my eagerness to fulfill requests can lead to mix-ups. I truly appreciated their kindness and understanding as I sent out two floral arrangements remedy my mistake.
Another order I completed in December was not urgent. The client shared a picture of a bridal bouquet she adored, which you can see below for inspiration. She provided a base for the arrangement and requested that it be lower than what was initially designed. While the base was larger than the bride's bouquet, I incorporated the same floral elements she loved. Ultimately, she was delighted with the result and had ample time to pick it up. I've created the arrangement from several angles for your viewing.
